Tornado & Sandstorms

ABOUT OUR TORNADO PROJECT :tornado:

So back in September 2017 I saw a post on Facebook showing a clutch (last Pic) that had just hatched from a pair of Triple Het parents with 2 very unusual Bbys amongst the 6 hatched so I msgd him immediately.
This was his reply when I asked what the parents are:

“The albino was Morton Wright line I imported from VPI about 7 years ago, the toffee line came from Paul Angelides, swapped a female black Axanthic with him for a double het toffee pied.
The pairing of these produced the adults you have which I then put together that produced the clutch with the 2 different ones.”

Also the adults you have were siblings to a Toffino pied I also hatched. I was thinking of getting out of royals altogether and sold the Toffino pied but kept all the siblings as just like having a couple of royals about but have since sold on.

So to cut a long story short we did a swap where I got the parents & all the Bbys, sadly 1 of the unusual ones (what we now call a Sandstorm) which was completely different to the other unusual 1 didn’t make it & died within a couple of weeks of hatching.

So we paired the adults again the following year & they produced another clutch pretty much identical to their 1st with the same 2 unusual Bby’s in !
Yes ! that EXACTLY what we had been hoping for these last couple years.
Granted it could have been better and this times Bbys could have been a boys!
But to re- produce both unusual ones that are healthy & eating well is AMAZING !
And so now this the 1st year as well as hopefully making more Tornadoes & Sandstorms we making some incredible hets with our Tornado male and hope to make a small number of Tornadoes available later this year :crossed_fingers::heart_eyes:

I really like that look! Looks super busy like a acid complex can, with a hint of carbon type granite style in the mix. Full belly shot please? Super luck, awesome snakes!

The pics with the baby and adult are awesome. Doesn’t look like much is lost in the aging, unlike some of the other morphs. Beautiful animals.

Woah those are stunning! The pattern on them is insane! They don’t look super faded out as adults either which is really nice to see

That is insane man. Both genetics are. I dig ghost, probably one of my favorite recessives, so I’m really digging that one.
