"Traits" fully inaccessible at the moment [6208] Fixed

Notice how that is missing? Also notice how you can see boa traits in the picture

I was talking about @noodlehaus and @sboyle1371

Notice how what is missing? Just because you can see the boa traits section, it’s entirely inaccessible. All trait search functions are currently not working, which, I’m pretty sure, is what @sboyle1371 meant by “completely took out”.

They’re messed up essentially the same, I think you’re confused here @logar lol

It’s exactly what i was talking about.

@logar I’m very well aware how to run the search engine for mm. Been doing it for years. Also I’ve been reporting bugs in the system after updates for awhile to now.

Weren’t you @noodlehaus talking about not being able to see the traits?

Weren’t you @sboyle1371 talking about the search bar being gone?

Maybe hitting my head this morning was worse than I thought

When did I say you didn’t know how to run a search engine?

Logar

They mention the trait search, which is broken because there are no traits present to view.

Same thing

Nope, we were both talking about the same thing, the traits being broken. The search bar automatically disappears if you scroll down and take your finger off the screen, so that it’s not blocking any info. This is not part of the bug.

It happens, no worries, you can’t know every little feature of the site itself! To be honest, I didn’t even know it did that until I went to check if the bar was missing myself.

I’m not referring to the search bar. When you select traits under a specific species. You should be given a list of recessive traits, inc dom/co dom, polygentic, and locality. The screenshot I posted, shows that under the traits tab. Those options are now completely removed. Also if you clear the search or play around with the search to get what you’re looking for. The website and app default to all animals being listed.

I probably worded it wrong and am a little frustrated. Cranky toddler all day today. So apologies for jumping the gun on anything

Gonna post this here, just in case anyone else comes in wondering about the problem:

@eaglereptiles I think I broke it :sob: It’s doing the same thing again in a search using trait filter

I’m still having the same issues, both with the traits tab and trait search. This is on my desktop and the mobile app

My bad, I seem to have mixed up issue.

Also to note…

When you select a “card” then it should do a search for what you select. When in a top level category (Boas, Pythons, Geckos…) then cards are species.

You need to enter the Traits page from the species category. or select them from the dropdown menu, to see the traits list.

… Yeah we are still fixing this.

You probably already know this, but the sort feature is messed up too. At least in leopard geckos…
