Traveling question!?!?

Question about traveling, say I go to a show like 8 hours away. How would I transport the snake back home? Any special steps I’m supposed to take before I were to drive back home?

I wouldn’t go to extraordinary lengths to keep it at the optimum enclosure temperature. Just keep the inside of the car a comfortable temp for you (75-80) and it should be fine for the 8 hour trip. And I would not try and give it any water during the trip. I would not put the snake in the direct path of the A/C vents or sunlight. Just make sure the container is very secure. There are TONS of nooks and crannies in a car for an escaped snake to hide in. Oh, and air holes, those would definitely be needed for that long of a trip.

I drive 8-10 hours to shows all the time with large numbers of animals. As stated above, I would just keep it at a temp that’s comfortable for you and don’t leave it in direct sunlight.
