I’ve known for a while now that I’ve wanted a tree monitor and I already know all of the species available in captivity, so I don’t need any help with that, but I was wondering about the care for some of them. Is there really any difference in care between the greens, yellows, blues, blacks and spotteds? Is there a temperament difference? I’d like a tree monitor that I could at the very least interact with, so which would be the best for that? Any help would be appreciated.

One person to maybe talk to about taming tree monitors might be Reptiliatus on youtube. Seems like a sweet guy, and he regularly works with handling and enrichment for two green tree monitors.
