Can Het Tri-stripe have some marker (for example like het pied)?

No, they don’t have “het marker”. That term is used in the wrong way but anyways, tri strips don’t have an indicator for the heterozygous form.

I only have one het tri-stripe so take what I say with a grain of salt. When I was picking him from a clutch the breeder had posted I noticed some of the hets had elongated alien eyes. Basically a single alien visor if you will. I picked the most extreme one thinking it might be a good tell for which of his offspring are het tri-stripe. I’ll get a picture to post later but my thinking is the alien eyes become the stripes in tri-stripes. Hoping to get some eggs maybe late this year to see if some of his his offspring do share that trait.

The male in this picture is het tri-stripe. Notice a tendency for single stripe alien eyes. I don’t suppose all het tri-stripes have that or all balls with something like that are het tri-stripe but I hope it will be useful in guessing which of his offspring are het tri-stripe.
