Let me guess. Champagne, pastel, butter, vanilla/fire, banana? Maybe genetic stripe? Not sure if that though. Maybe even that new patternless gene in there, but that seems unlikely, so I won’t include it in my guess.

Edit: It’s not food coloring and he didn’t fall into a pot of curry. No snakes were harmed in the taking of this photo.

This is his true pattern, but not his natural color. I thought it would be a fun and tricky ID challenge to guess why.
Hint: This was after he got a bath last night

As for why the colors are different I’m not sure.

We have a winner! He’s a BEL who just got a betadine bath. I noticed some scale issues on his tail when I got back from Christmas and found a sopping wet spot in his hide that was the culprit. He’s getting his daily betadine baths and silver cream over the scales now.

I noticed the blue eyes, but was not completely sure on the orangish color. He was very orange in the picture. Wasn’t completely sure because I’m almost positive you said that was showing his natural color with nothing done to it… Great snake though!

That was actually a fun challenge.
If anyone’s good at Photoshop I think it would be a fun game to slightly edit a snake’s color and/or pattern and have everyone try to guess the morph.
