Two questions in one

I didn’t want to do a double post so I will put two quick questions in one. Firstly, if a gecko arches their back while being stroked what does that mean? And secondly; my leopard gecko lost his entire tail during shipping and I wanted to know if after it grows back, since it detached from the very base and he lost the entire thing, can he lose it again?

A gecko can lose its tail multiple times no matter how many times it has regrown . The tail also wont be the same as its original

I’ve noticed that the geckos I have that arch their backs when touched are usually not a fan of being petted. Especially the babies at our store, you touch them and they arch and scream. With some handling they’ll get used to it eventually.
