Ultramel Blue Eyed Lucys?

I am working on expanding my ultramel project and was wondering if I could get some feedback. I was considering breeding my Bamboo Ultramel to a Bamboo het Ultramel(with a few more genes mixed in). I know Super Bamboo creates a BEL. I can’t find anything on BEL Ultramels though. Is this because they haven’t been done or simply because they look no different from your average BEL?

@t_h_wyman or @chesterhf can probably correct me.

Ultramel is a form of Albinism. Albinism strips away melanin based pigmentation.
Leucism (BEL) is a loss of near all pigmentation.

You will likely end up with a white snake with red eyes that have issues with light.

BEL would remove all pigmentation, so they would look the same as other BELs. Additionally you likely wouldn’t be able to tell which ones have ultramel (or any other morph) since there are no defining characteristics except for the eyes (there’s a way to identify banana from eyes but I’m not positive that it applies to ultramel).

Yeah, most likely never been done

They will be different in the eye but that is it. As Thomas notes, the Ultramel will drastically reduce the melanin content in the eye so you will get an all white snake that has a garnet-coloured eye
