Has she bred before, or what is it partho?
Have heard of them eating occasionally when gravid. I don’t offer after ovulation but I have missed ovulation before so I can see why it was a surprise.
Neither. First year breeding her. She is six years old, just a small girl.

I have heard of it, but in all my years, every single female ball has stopped eating a month or more before ovulation. That is one of my cues to start watching her a little more closely

Exactly how I found the clutch of eggs that I got last year; went to clean her cage and bam there they were. Happy-surprised pikachu face all around. I was singing the pair’s praises the whole time I set them up.
