I had paired a Pastel female with Banana Cinnamon Butter Pastel and ended up with this animal and am puzzled trying to identify it. Anyone have any input?

What is throwing me off is the connecting eye stripe and the lack of blushing on the blacks. None of the other pastels or super pastels look like this one.

Pastel is varied like all genes. I see zero indication of any gene other than pastel being present in my personal opinion.

Do you have pictures of the parents? He kinda looks like a Pastel Spotnose to me, but if the parents morphs are accurate then that wouldn’t be possible.

I’m not personally seeing spotnose. But seeing pictures of the parents could help determine that.

has mom been paired before and is this the first time breeding for dad? Did you produce these or purchase them from another breeder? If so you may want to contact them and see if you can find out more about previous pairings or parents of dad.
Super pastel I’d say

Mom has produced before and just spits out pastels that are not very interesting looking. Dad was produced by someone else and I will contact him and try to see if he has more information about the parents. I did another clutch with dad and ended up with a lot of heavy striped animals which I attributed to Butter, but this one hatchling I posted just had a usual bright highlighter yellow and looked different than anything else.

I think it is just a really nice Pastel. If it were a Super, I would expect to see a lot more blushing. When I first started out I did a Pastel to a Normal pairing. I hit 6 pastels and 3 normal. One of the Pastel just stood out over all the others but looked very similar to yours. Here’s a pic of her as a baby and an adult.
You can see how blushed out the head was but still just Pastel as far as I know. I will say though that I sold here, and the person who bought her paired her with a Spinner Blast and she made a super pastel that was pretty incredible looking. The third pic is her baby.
