Warning for gecko poop pictures!!
My crested gecko, pumpkin, hadnt been eating (that i could see), for a while. He usually uses the bathroom when I handle him, so i thought id try. Ive been avoiding handling him since the original post
As expected, he went to the bathroom and this came out. It definitely looks much better than his last one, but it is still off-looking. Why is it dual-toned?
Just a heads up I believe you can mark images as “spoilers” to blur them if you need to add photos like that. I don’t quite remember how to do it though… I believe @noodlehaus may be able to help?
As far as I can tell the bms look normal, when you refer to dual toned are you referring to the white urates and feces? Or just the feces?
Edit: If you ever do have concerns about your gecko’s bms you can always collect it in a ziplock bag or similar and store it in the fridge, then contact a reptile specialized vet about it, explain your concerns and see if they may be able to do any tests for harmful bacteria or parasites.

Thank you for letting me know! My only concern with the feces is specifically its color, not the urate. I don’t have any exotic/reptile vets near me, and i also dont really have the money
