So my girl is 320 grams. She’s been eating pups for awhile now. She hasn’t pooped in about 4 or 5 feedings however she is not swollen at all and her cloaca looks fine. She’s behaving normally and all my husbandry is good. So I’m assuming she needs to be upped at rat size. I have some weiners that are around 36 grams. Would that be okay to offer?
I judge appropriate prey size not by weight of snake vs. prey, but by a visual comparison of girth. If the prey is about as thick as the thickest part of the snake, or slightly thicker, it is a good size.

Okay! And that is based on when the snake is completely stretched out correct?
320 is plenty ready for weaners.
