So I have a 10 gallon tank with a baby hognose in it right now. The dimensions are something like 20"x12", but the only relevant UTHs I can find are 11x6 and 11x11. I ordered an 11x6 one and it seemed ridiculously small, especially for a hognose given their natural habitat. But is the 11x11 one going to be too much?
6 x 11 will work just fine now the question is will a 10 gallons tank will work with a baby and that is usually a lot more tricky and will depends on the size of the baby, if it is under 50/75 grams I would not recommend it.
