UVA lighting

Hi I’m looking forward some advice please as new to the hobby, much appreciated for any help will be getting some leopard geckos and was wondering if people use uva lighting or vitamins or both to give there geckos the best they can

I give my geckos a dish of calcium without d3 and dust their food every few feedings with calcium with d3. If you want to you can also give them UVA and UVB lighting. A standard reptile UV light will have the right amount of both. If you provide UV light get a weaker light or have it on for 3-5 hours a day instead of all day. Too much can be harmful.
