My buddy just got really lucky, this is the reason to run a thermostat no matter what! Blew the fuse on his herpastat basic but potentially saved his life. Told him he needs to directly contact VE.

Oh geeze, good thing he had it regulated. I wonder if he had an issue with it retaining the plug in place. I had one of these particular plug in style and I had problems getting it to stay in place. The other ones like it all plugged in fine, but one was just… not quite right.
