Castle Blacks have really grown on me, so have Venezillo Sp in general. Slightly shy isopod that gets decently sized id say around the same size as a Clown Isopod/Zebra (maybe a tad smaller). They like deeper substrate and more of the rotting wood, I tend to mix the soil once I a while to make it more airy as they like to burrow. I’ve yet to see a tiny tiny baby I usually catch the young juvies at the surface, I’d assume the babies also like to stay underground and hide. Keeping them around 72-74F. Mostly damp like Cubaris Rubber Ducky.

Oooooh, cool! What sort of supplemental foods do they prefer?

The same thing as most isopods. I notice they like potato slices and carrots more so than protein like dried minnows.
