Vision issues

Hello! I recently acquired a new bearded dragon that acts very different from my others when it comes to eating bugs from his food bowl…. It’s almost like he has a depth perception issue—he tends to miss on the first attempt—sometimes even the second, and does a lot of odd head movement when trying to “gauge his target.”

I reached out to one breeder that said the dunner morph can have depth perception issues and when I sent the video I was told it appears he is a not so severe case—but it is an apparent issue.

My question is is does anyone else have experience with this? And what test should I ask for at the vet to confirm this?

Most likely he just has poor vision and/or poor depth, perception. The odd head movements are probably him trying parallax To clear his vision. It is really common in red eyed rodents and some other species that have albino mutations.
