My daughter has had a Salamander for a year. Today she noticed a bump on its head. Its the red and black mark.
She is concerned about it and is wondering if anyone has seen this or knows what it is?

To me personally, it looks like a scab where she could have hit her head, and got hurt.

That’s exactly what I told my daughter. Probably when it dug under the water dish.
