What morph do I have?

We have what we believe is a 3-4 year old Western Hognose male, and we’re just wondering what specific Morph he might be!

Looks like a normal/wild phase western hog to me.

That’s what we thought! The person we got him from said he was anaconda, but either he’s het or i have my doubts lol

either way, we love em!

Anaconda is a dominant mutation, meaning there is no such thing as a “het” Anaconda. Could you post a photo of the belly? I doubt based on the amount of patterning that you’ve got a conda, but the belly will confirm.

Huh, I didn’t actually know that. This is the first hognose we’ve had and I don’t know a lot about their genetics honestly!

He’s burrowed somewhere in his enclosure, but he’s got the black belly with yellow spotting

I would call this boy a normal.

With the yellow on the belly, along with his patterning, I concur with everyone else’s assessment that you’ve got a normal. With the condas, you get a more reduced pattern and they tend to have mostly/all black bellies (though not all the time).
