What morph is this gecko?

I recently acquired this male gecko. The breeder says his morph is ‘Tangerine Tremper Albino Stripe Cross G-Pro (Stonewash?)’, but after scouring the entire internet, I can’t find any similar photos of adults or juveniles. Help me understand what morph this is and find individuals with similar coloring. This gecko was produced from a TTA Bold Stripe cross G-Pro and an SHTCT cross G-Pro, Blood.

Your gecko at a glance is a tangerine tremper albino stripe baby that grew to be a beautiful Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Tremper Albino.

The ‘Blood’, ‘Bold’ and ‘G-pro’ parts of the pairing are different line bred traits.

With all that in mind …I would say that makes yours a SHTCT Tremper Albino (g-project and blood cross).
Although I have been out of the gecko breeding circles for a bit and a lot of the naming can be subjective…so another breeder may disagree.

The Bold bloodline looks to have been watered down quite a bit because your gecko is lacking the thick markings that they’re known for. I would not consider mine a Bold cross at that point. You would need to start focusing on crossing back into Bold lines to bring back the markings.

Because G-Project is on both sides of the pairing, I would try to look for a breeder working with that particular line.
Either that or because they are such a dark shade of tangerine, consider looking into breeders working with the ‘Blood’ line as well.

It’s sometimes difficult to tell how a hatchling will turn out but typically the brighter they are as babies the more color the better. And try to get a look at the parents as well. The better looking the adults usually means better looking babies. Especially when working with line bred traits, the idea is to breed the best to the best, not water it down and start over again.

Thank you for this thorough explanation! It’s great to have more clarity on his morph and the lineage behind it. I’ll research the G-Project/Blood lines further, and I appreciate your honesty about the Bold traits. Your insight is invaluable!

No problem!
Bold lines can definitely be a fun project, but if this is your first project I definitely would focus on this gecko’s strengths which is the color for sure.
