Love his coloring. Awesome snake Lumpy. Congratulations!!
Thank you!
New boy I picked up today! I plan to pair him to my girl Brownie (super cinnamon poss het piebald) in hopes of hitting an urban camo.
I understand the risks with possible super cinnamons but I’m hoping for the best either way!
1.0 sandblast sterling het piebald
Edit: color corrected the last two photos because I noticed it was too “cool” looking — my hoodie is a brighter purple color rather than blue
I love that dissipated pattern look to him! The silver color is really gorgeous. Urban camo bp’s are soo cool! They’re definitely on the list of Ball Pythons i would die for! What are the odds for that pairing? I really hope you hit them!
I think about a 1/8 chance? Possibly better even if Brownie is het pied too. According to the MM calculator anyways
There was him and another that was nearly identical, but he had more of a broken up pattern along the neck while the other looked more “clean” — so of course I picked him since I liked the messy look a bit more!
That’s not terrible odds for a clutch with so many morphs going on. Let’s hope Brownie prooves out!!
I totally would have too! The messiness of it all pulls it together.
First amphibian in a few years… Got him at the NH show a week back. Amazon Milk Frog. My daughter has named it Petri.
Wanted to mention that MorphMarket was represented! I am not affiliated, so hopefully I can post this? Very crowded day, too!
He’s really handsome! I’m a fan of silver grey. Best of luck down the road with Brownie and this boy.
Cute pickup! As a former science teacher, I love the name!
My daughter said it reminded her of one of those mold growth tests one might do in 9th Grade Biology.
Wow, that is a beautiful snake! I wasn’t familiar with the species so I looked it up. I love the look they have, their scales are so cool! Looks like they get nice and big, too. Thanks for introducing me to such a unique, beautiful species!
What’s their care and temperment like?
There’s basically no information about their care available online, but I’m going to use the standard Asian rat snake playbook and keep the temperatures moderate and the humidity fairly humid. Temperament is also typical Asian rat snake; nervous and defensive.
I went to see a friend of mine today about some mice and she had some babies for sale. Well I fell in love with one and had to bring him home with me. I think He is-

Congratulations!!! He is super beautiful!
Thanks Lumpy. He is a super nice boy.
That is great to hear!! Boas are the best in my opinion. They have wonderful personalities and get the size to be a ton of fun .
