My husband despises reptiles, arachnids, and anything else along those lines, hence all my critters are in my room. I have found out over the years that it’s much much easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission……. just sayin……

Haha. Thats how i got my 2nd corn. Lol. But its more the landlord who says i have enough (unfortunately that is my F-I-L and he lives with us). That and each one i have gotten my hubby falls in love witjh quickly so. And absolutely no spiders for me. Total phobia due to an escaped tarantula of a roommate once. :fearful:

Oh well if that’s the case I am sorry I gave you such wicked advice! :joy:. Trust me sometimes I wish I only had 2 critters instead of the ghastly amount I have but I have no common sense and clearly no willpower…….when it comes to certain things at least……But your two babes are fabulous!

Well here’s hoping that happens soon but in the meantime make sure he’s not tricking you by promising you a “party” instead of a snake……:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Oh my goodness, you’re SO describing me! This had me literally laughing out loud sitting on my porch. Pretty sure the neighbors thought I’d lost whatever is left of my mind.  :joy:  :joy:

Thank you! I can’t believe how social he is! Sometimes it is difficult to get him back in his enclosure!

I visited a local reptile store near me, the guy had a breeding pair of these. I’d never really seen them until then. He let me hold one while my wife held the other the entire time we were in there. They were so calm and unique. Definitely considered getting one afterwards!

I’m tellin ya, you really should think about it. My friend/breeder says that they are little monsters as babies but they grow into calm little lizards as they age. Totally different from my leopard, crested, and gargoyle. This little fella will hang around at the door sometimes like he’s waiting for me to open it so he can come out. And they are great eaters too……

Thank you Jennifer! He has really captured my heart ! It’s fun to watch him eat baby dubias out of his feeding dish. He kinda zones in on them with his little eyes. And the way his mouth moves when he’s eating is a hoot! I’m tellin ya this tiny boy is a heartthrob! :joy:

Here is a rescue I picked up this morning. Owner said he might be blind because he will only eat (apples) by hand. I don’t know how old he is either. I am taking him to my vet for a checkup Monday…… I always wanted a beardie so now I have one! :joy:
