What should I get to make the enclosure have more clutter? I want the theme to be like a desert. I have a hognose

This is the enclosure. Its a 10 gallon but as the hognose ages I’ll get a bigger enclosure. I’m trying to keep the budget under $20 for decor but that might not work so I don’t know. It’s ok if its higher than $20 but its what I prefer. I just want the snake to have a good home. It’s my first snake ever. I also prefer it to be non-bioactive.

If you have any decor that you suggest to make more clutter then please send the link of it and the picture of it.

There are packs of artificial plants you can get off amazon for $20 or less. I also like to utilize this pool tubing from Lowe’s.

You can buy it by the foot and cut into smaller sections. Can put it on top the substrate or bury it. My hogs absolutely love it.
A nice piece of driftwood would look good too but may run a bit more on the cost.

Do you think that I could see them in your enclosure? So I know how to exactly use them.

Do you just use them as like tunnels everywhere?

That’s a good idea! Right now I use paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls. . When they get soiled I just throw them away. My geckos like them too for out of the enclosure play time.

So cute! I kind of thought he was a year old already. My leopard gecko turned a year old on may 10 and she looks smaller than yours.

I don’t have any pics on hand and I’m headed out of town right now. But yes I either bury them or leave on top of the substrate, depending on the individual.

:joy:. Just kidding of course. The pair are related by their mother but they have different fathers. The other little girl is no relation to the pair so I just called her their step sister.

I know! I have a very warped sense of humor! And no hate was intended! In fact it is a good question and I’m not even sure I understand my explanation!!! :joy::joy::joy::joy:
