Havent been able to find the snake im looking for and was just wondering about the best time to look for new snakes
That really depends on the species, and how many breeders are working with said species, but most would usually start hatching out during the spring and summer months.

I found the most available were over the summer and into fall, when I was looking. I’m going to assume OP meant ball pythons since that’s how it’s tagged.
Seems like early on in the season (like now) it’s often too cold to ship, or maybe the breeders haven’t decided what they’re holding back just yet, and the longer the season goes the more sell, and at some point there are less available towards the tail end, plus then again too cold to ship - was my experience.
