What would be the best combo to breed with my Spotnose Lesser Pastel Male

been looking at breeding as a hobby and i quite like a pinstripe (because i like the emperor pinstripe spotnose morph) to breed to my male Spotnose Lesser Pastel male, he is also het hypo and het desert ghost, and i was just wondering what other combos are cool. Im mostly looking for dominant or co-dominant genes but any other suggestions are welcome. or if there is any issues with genetic issues, please le me know

You’re going to want to bring out those recessives, so your female should be at least Het Hypo and Het Desert Ghost.

I do agree with @halfmoonlakeherps on trying to make sure the female is at the very least double het. Though I would honestly go with a visual for both to make sure they are 100% hets.

Definitely research more on the MorphMarket morphipedia.
Don’t be tempted to pick up an lesser pastel spotnose pin. I would try to do the double visual pin at the least. If not a Hypo pin het DG would be good or vice versa

With your male you may want to make sure that the female is not spotnose or lesser.
Spotnose is part of the spider complex. While spotnose can help keep the spider from wobbling, super spotnose is known to have a wobble. You do not want spotnose or most other spider complex morphs on both sides of the pairing to avoid wobble. Though some people still will mix the other genes I personally would avoid them because of that wobble risk.

Lesser is part of the blue eye leucistic complex. The super form has been known to cause bug eyes. This also will mean super lesser snakes are pure white and VERY difficult to ID. You would need to genetic test them for the other genes to know what they really have.

cheers, will keep that in mind. thanks for the links as well.

thanks, i’ll be on the look out
