What would happen if they were bred

What would happen if you breeder a blue eyed lucy with a normal bp? Like what kind of babies?

That would depend on what gene(s) made up the BEL parent. For example, if you had a Lesser Mojave, all offspring would be either Lesser or Mojave. If you had a Super Mojave, all offspring would be Mojave.

Do you know what genes are in your BEL?
Unfortunately some sellers don’t disclose them and just sell them as ‘BEL’.

As Jess said, you would end up with all single gene offspring. The genes of the BEL parent get split between every baby. You cannot have a baby with both genes to make another BEL in this pairing.

I will say at a glance, unless the BEL has other genes involved it does not look to be super Mojave. Most often it’s a super lesser/butter (same gene 2 lines) or lesser combined with another allelic gene like Mojave or Russo.

As others have said it depends on the makeup of the BEL.

If its a Super Lesser you’d get all Lesser babies.

If its a Lesser Russo you’d get Lesser or Russo babies.

If its a Lesser Mojave you’d get Lesser or Mojave babies.

If its a Super Mojave (which I agree with @armiyana it does not appear to be) you’d get all Mojave babies.

With that being said I’d highly reccomend looking into breeding better genes if you really are considering breeding BPs. Something that would create multi morph babies, as the BP market isn’t great and hasn’t been for a while due to oversaturation and its a lot harder to sell single morph babies.

Figure out what your BEL makeup is through shed testing if you dont know what it is already and invest another BP besides the Normal that has nicer genes so you can get them to make better babies. Just keep the Normal as a pet because at this point its not worth breeding it.
