Where else to buy MM branded boxes? Can't reach order minimum!

Hey folks! Last year, I bought a bunch of shipping supplies from the MorphMarket supplies shop. I was able to reach the minimum order cost fine then. But now I need some smaller boxes. I am not rich. I cannot afford to spend minimum $100 on random stuff I don’t need. I literally just need some 8x8x7 boxes with the inserts. But with the free shipping option, the highest it goes is a little over $50.

The only boxes I have now are my last few 12x9x6 and that’s a bit much for a single tiny lizard so if anyone knows a way to obtain only just the MM branded boxes with inserts, let me know!

Also, are non branded boxes ok? I want to use the MM labels/rate thingys from the site but I can’t remember if the boxes must be branded too. If regular insulated boxes are ok, let me know some places to buy some. :downcast_face_with_sweat:

You can use either MorphMarket branded boxes or proper reptile shipping containers which are unbranded and have no logo on them. Here is an excerpt from the Rules for shipping.

You can read all of the Rules here:

I don’t know if it helps, but you can order s smaller quantity of boxes from MorphMarket. If you need only a small number, you can get that and just pay for shipping.

Hope that helps.

I tried to just buy the boxes and pay shipping at first, but it wouldn’t let me since there is a $100 order minimum. Maybe I wasn’t ordering right, but idk.

Ooohhhh, I didn’t realize that there was a $100 minimum. That seems potentially problematic.

I might edit my post then. I mentioned the $100 minimum and that’s why I need help (can’t afford it when all I need is a few boxes), but I can edit my wording if it doesn’t say that clearly. I’ll try TSK supply too btw.

It should not be this hard to find legal/proper boxes, as $100 minimum pushes away so many customers who only need a few things. I cannot afford to buy random bags and cups when I have plenty, just to reach the minimum order cost :sob:

Maybe one day they’ll remove the order minimum, I see zero reason it should even exist lol

I think the error was mine. I thought the $100 minimum was only for free shipping. I didn’t realize that it applied to every order. That does seem counterproductive.

I know sometimes there will be booths at expos that carry the MM boxes so you might try that option. And, as was noted, you can use any box that does not have a competitors branding on it. I use my MM account to ship all kinds of non-snake things in repurposed Amazon boxes

I will reach out to the shipping lead on the CS team and see if they can stop over here and comment on the $100 minimum

I spoke with the shipping lead and the $100 minimum for online ordering is in place because that is necessary to keeps costs to you as the buyer at a minimum

From a personal standpoint, back when I was shipping herps and plants at much higher volumes, buying shipping boxes in bulk made a lot of sense. They do not “go bad” so you can just hang on to them until you use them all up in a year or three or five
