White tree frogs

Hello, everyone, I’m currently in a tight spot and I’m looking for any advice on what to do. A couple of weeks ago I bought 20 white tree frog tadpoles and there were some issues with the seller that prolonged the shipment (no fault of anyone). I ended up with 35 tadpoles (I didn’t ask for 15 more) and I originally was thinking that only half of the 20 I was going to get would survive. All seem to be turning to froglet. So far, I’ve only have lost one of them. Some are currently leaving the water to continue their process. Now my problem is I’m currently in the middle of becoming a homeowner and I can’t really spend the 1,200 dollars for the set up I was planning on doing for all of them while I try to sell/trade or give some away to family. I was thinking of just getting a couple of cheap tanks off of Facebook marketplace. Any advice would be appreciated greatly.

Also, when do they start eating crickets and things like that I’m having some trouble finding information online so any links to help would be great.

You can just get some cheapy 10 gallon enclosures with lids and use coco fiber or paper towels with some sticks from outside. Each 10 gallon can hold around 10 for the first month. Each one will cost you probably about $25-30 so if you get 5-10 of those (preparing for when they need more spread out) then you are looking a a cheap, effective housing option that will last for at least a couple months.

Another thing to remember is that sometimes healthy tadpoles just won’t morph out and end up dying. Don’t expect it to happen but just a thing to keep in the back of your mind.

do you have any recommendations for feeding

Just go for feeders the size or slightly smaller than the gap between their eyes.
