Thought the facial structure was that of a house snake. Just never seen one solid black like that. I love him! Also heard they are awesome animals

Yep, he’s a Black African House Snake, but he’s got a baby face, i think because he’s not even a year old yet. His species of House Snake tend to grow into their eyes a bit more as adults. (I think it’s the Namibian version who get natural “bug eyes”) But until Sangfroid is older it’s Jeepers Creepers time, all the time!
A House Snake might make a decent addition if you only have a little space to spare- They don’t need very much, especially at first. He lives in a locking sterilite tub the size of a large shoebox.
