Have you tried working dark sun with ultramel? Not as an allelic obviously, but just as far as how they interact as homozygous genes together? Kind of wondering if they get the ruby red eyes on a darker background

apologies for late reply I should be more active on here but I’m not.
We have not put the gene into Ultramel yet as we are still trying to get in into other recessives first like Pied (which we have now done), Hypo and Clown.
We believe we have the gene isolated so it is something we could do in the future, but putting it into ultramel I think would be best if only Dark Matter was involved and not Albino or Candy/Toffee.
That’s just what I was thinking, the Dark Matter albinos almost have a sort of Ultramel look to them despite being T-, I really love the way they look.
Super curious what Dark Matter would look like with Ultramel.
Dark Matter Ultramel is something we could well be doing in the future.
It will probably give a darker more richer colour than an Ultramel on its own.
