- I’d rather own 100 different species
- I’d rather discover a new morph
For me, it’s gotta be…
- 100 different species
- Discover a morph
100 species, says the non-breeder. And, discover a new species.
You mean a new morph?
- I would want all the pythons
- I would rather all snakes… But it’s so close!
- Go to tinley for free!
- Emerald boas
- Discover a new species!
- 100 different species, for versatility!
- Discover a new and amazing morph!
@garciademueller I was being extra selfish! Tough (for me) to discover a morph when I’m not breeding…
Let’s bump this topic back up. This was fun.
Would you rather get any reptile you want from free but have to pay to set it up or be able to create any setup for free but still have to pay for the animal?
I would love any reptile I want for free lol
. I am currently looking at some pretty expensive boas, like one I am looking at is a female 2021 Orangasm Vpi Snow Glow Jungle for $3,495.00. Please no one take her if I post the link to her on MM
.
Very nice!
This is a tough one. I’d love a super rare reptile but sadly they are too expensive. But then again I love setting up enclosures and I’d love to set up a massive bio-active enclosure.
I think free super rare reptile wins
I have to go with free enclosure. I don’t have incredibly expensive taste when it comes to most reptiles. I’m not a big morph guy, more of a species diversity guy. Most of the species I’m interested in only cost a few hundred, but the setups are unbelievably expensive. I would own a BRB right now if I could but when I eventually do I want to set it up in a nice big five foot toad ranch enclosure with a pool, live plants and a misting system. That’ll be thousands of dollars though which I just can’t do right now.
I’m a little late to the party here but figured I’d give my opinion. Personally I would get a free setup. I would love to be able to put all my animals into large pvc enclosures with water features and all the bells and whistles.
Hi Drew, welcome back bro
. Hopefully you are back for good
.
Would you rather keep every species of boa, or every species of python?
This is tough, because I love both, but I think I’d go with pythons. There’s just so much variety in the python family, plus my favourite species (short tails and retics) are pythons.
Would you rather only keep lizards or snakes?
Snakes. Lizards are cool and there are several lizard species I’d love to keep, but nothing beats snakes for me.
Would you rather be able to go to TInley every year for free, or be able to go to (insert dream herping location) for free whenever you want?
Dream herping location. Probably Australia, the Amazon, and/or Madagascar. I’d love to go to Tinley, but nothing beats seeing amazing animals in their natural habitat.
Would you rather keep green tree pythons or emerald tree boas?
Emerald tree boas. Both are really beautiful, but emeralds just “speak” to me more.
Would you rather discover a new reptile species or be the first to establish a reptile species in captivity?
Discover a new species. That would be so freaking cool.
Would you rather get your dream animal off of MorphMarket for free or discover a new gene/trait/morph in your existing collection?
Dream animal off MM. I’m not really interested in breeding, so I’d rather just be able to add something new and beautiful to my collection.
Would you rather, have an active but venomous snake or a snake that never leaves it’s hide?
Non-venomous snake that never leaves its hide. I like to handle my snakes and I’m not bothered by “pet rocks.” While there are many venomous snakes I love, actually keeping and caring for one just seems way too stressful to me.
Would you rather have a room full of display enclosures (exoterras) or racks regardless the cost/space , and why (sorry, it’s the teacher in me.)
Room full of displays! Although I’d prefer PVC enclosures to ExoTerras, I hate how heavy glass is. But I like having nice, pretty, naturalistic displays for my critters.
Would you rather, only keep reptiles or mammals (dog, cat, rabbit etc)?
This is a tough one! I love my kitties and my chinchilla so much, but I think I’d pick reptiles. Much quieter and less messy, and it’s easier to keep a bunch of different reptiles than it is to keep a bunch of mammals. Mammals are high-maintenance (at least my mammals are
).
Would you rather discover a Neon green or sky blue ball python morph?
Even though green is my favourite colour, I think I’d pick sky blue, just because there aren’t nearly enough blue reptiles.
Would you rather be able to find any morph combo for sale or any species for sale at any time (the cost would still be the same)?
Any species! I’m not as into morphs as some folks, I’m more into keeping a variety of different species.
Would you rather own all the morphs of a single species or own 100 different species?
100 different species! As I stated above, I’m more into having a variety of species than I’m into morphs.
Would you rather discover a new morph or be the first one to produce really cool combos with a new morph?
Hrmm… that’s a tough one since I’m not a breeder, but I’ll go with the new morph. It’d be cool to discover an awesome new morph and get to name it.
Would you rather get any reptile you want from free but have to pay to set it up or be able to create any setup for free but still have to pay for the animal?
I think I’d go for the setup. Nice setups are freaking expensive compared to most of the reptiles I want. It’d be awesome to be able to create a big, beautiful display enclosure without having to worry about cost.
I think I got all the questions!
Yeah, I took a break for a bit lol. Glad to be back though.
If your a breeder-
Would you rather hold back for future breeding –
.
The best example of a reptile with the best colours but has a poor feeding response and work on it.
OR
hold back a not so good example maybe also less colourful example that feeds like a pig?
You only have space for one of the two and there is no others in the middle.
Right here because I can get something to eat that has a poor feeding response. And once you get something established it’s usually no problem. Quality over quantity is one of my mottos.
Definitely best example with a poor feeding response. I have some experience getting picky animals to eat, so I think I’d be fine with that. My male hognose didn’t eat for the first three months I had him, and now he eats right off the tongs.
Would you rather have the animals you have now?
OR
Start fresh again and change your options ?
.
But the same overall finical worth.
I couldn’t even think of getting rid of Kai, Willow, Leaky, and Sherbet. They are mine before they are breeders by any means.
