Zero, trans. Witlblit mating …I’m looking for a wero bearded dragon and 3 different breeders have some due but all are visual to het matings … I’ve read they have to be het to het otherwise babies are poorly and rarely live long … is this true in visual to het?

Most of the issues with beardies are because of things like linebreeding. That can lead to weakened immune systems or deformities and failure to thrive in young dragons.
I don’t see how breeding a het to het would be different than a visual to het unless they have not been properly outcrossed to improve the lines. That could be why the het to het is more recommended, but you would need to make sure they are unrelated or else that’s still going to give potential linebreeding issues.
