Annoying Habits Your Herps Have

Don’t believe her lies! Behind that sweet innocent face lurks the heart of a ravenous predator.

It’s interesting, while Mina has always been an excellent eater, it’s only been in the past few months that I’ve started seeing her exhibit that extreme food drive that STPs are infamous for. Just you wait, before long, your sweet Borneo boy might also develop an appetite for anything that moves. :joy:

I think it may have been the movement of the fake plant when I grabbed it that sent her into food mode this time.

You spend 3-hours deep cleaning the bullsnake cages and then they take a big stinky dump in the fresh cage within 15-minutes of being put back.

Thanks guys! I always knew the boas loved me more.

My Leo will NOT eat out of a dish. The only way he will eat is on a paper towel. I know he can see them, he just wont go for them. He also wont eat crickets. I think they bkther him with their legs. Lol

Someone in my rack just let out the loudest fart or poop and I could hear it in another room, and I’m afraid to go in now and investigate. :confounded:

Before I owned snakes, I was unaware that they could fart or that their pooping could be so noisy!

Same. I thought they just silently pooped like a rodent. I got a rude awakening one night shortly after I got my sand boa. At first I thought it was one of my cats, until I realized my cats weren’t in the room. :joy:
