His coloring and contrast remind me of Brie.
Yep. Same morph. And she’s dark too. ![]()
Wow! Havarti looks really good considering! ![]()
Thanks Caron. ![]()
I meant considering! Not consistently!!! ![]()

She’s been syringed a lotta critical care and force fed a lot of Reptilinks!
No wonder she looks so good!
Edit to add: I thought syringing baby corns was a no no, except when done by a professional……???
I’ve had good luck syringing, but a comment Jess made a few months ago in another post had me re-thinking it. So I switched to force feeding quail reptilinks. Certainly far less chance of aspiration. Practically none.
That’s what I was talking about……
You can and you will!!! ![]()

Awwwww. Goodbyes are so hard! Sometimes we just can’t make ourselves say them.
Gorgeous coloring on Edam. And look at her sweet little face! Clearly, she wants you to keep her.
Well she can wish in one hand… Oh wait—that doesn’t work with the limbless. ![]()
Grandpa Rico, Miami Cinder het Bantam SK Stripe and some of his Bantam grandkids after eating. I’m beginning to think there’s another novel mutation in the Bantam family. I’m calling it “Dark Factor.” Maybe you can guess which one here I suspect.
Yeah, I see what you’re saying.
Is this Snowpea’s grandpa, too? The elongated stripish markings on his neck look similar to hers. I took this 03 March. Maybe you can see what I mean. She’s darker in the pic because she was in shed, though.
All right grandpa! ![]()
Rico is Snowpea’s dad. She’s much prettier! ![]()
If the “Dark Factor” here is real, then this Bantam Caramel Shatter male has it.
Compare to a same-morph female. If anything, a female should be the darker one. She just ate voluntarily for the first time in her 7 months, so she’s not looking very stumpy, but she will.
