This one is hugging the hot spot now. Hopefully a good litter. Enjoy the action shots through ovulation.

This is why its important to leave your males in with female. We dont fully understand the process and when conception actualy happen.

POS last night and saw lock this morning. Unfortunately missed that pic because of a meeting but maybe still locked. Anyway, male was in the corner and even trying to escape during pre ovulation swell into ovulation. Male uninterested during blue stage and now locked POS. The male will pursue until the point of being gravid and a little after in hopes of following year breeding cycle (only if theories of year long hold is correct).

I think the misconception is that the dead is done but think it is more complicated and not until the female gives of a certant signal of being gravid and holding adequit sperm for following year or not receptive that the male will no longer persue her because the job is done.

His rich colors are popping in that CA sun! He is such a regal looking guy!

I am trying to talk my husband into moving to Florida. We’ve had snow on the ground for the last couple of weeks and more coming with minus degree weather! He is 75 and too old to shovel it! :blush:

Thanks Caron! I wanted to move to Florida a few years back when I felt California lost it’s dang mind (still kinda do, and it most definitely did haha). The hurricanes ect had us pumping the brakes, but here we are with all these crazy fires. Thankful that we weren’t in the affected area, we’ve got ash everywhere where I’m at in Orange County.

Shoveling snow is no joke that’s for sure! Hope you all stay warm

Oh I am so sorry! I am such a ditz! I thought you were in FL! I am going to correct my mistake!

I am sooooo glad you were not affected by those terrible fires! But I am sure the ashes are not pleasant!

Sorry again! :weary::face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
