Boa Constrictors!

Love this, one of my first boas in the mid 2000’s was a hypo harlequin. Such a beautiful combo with the anery in there as well.

I would say I see Harley in her Matt. Just given how her color bleeds and smooths…gives me Harley vibes

That’s awesome! I’m a sucker for stripes so I love that patterning. I had no idea there was (or might be) a super form of Harley. I’d love to get a male to breed to my girl to in the future and seeing a super form would be really cool. My female doesn’t have much pattern change from the Harley that I can tell but she has definitely held onto blue/purple better than I’ve seen on regular ghosts. She was super light and had lots of purple as a baby. My plan with her is to make VPI snow harlequin boas and see if those keep blues and purples in the same way and don’t “yellow out” as much as they age.

Labyrinth is damn cheat code! Beautiful boa. I only work with VPI, but the blue dream sharp project definitely has caught my attention. I just don’t have enough space to add another line of albino and all those required parts.

Yeah it kinda is haha! It’s one of my favorite genes for sure. I can’t wait to see what he produces for me especially if he ends up being key west as well. I know everybody says it but there’s really no beating seeing this snake in person. His pinks are so much brighter and cleaner it’s just so hard to get a nice picture of.

I’ve seen those blue dreams as well and they are insane! Very pretty snakes. Il probably get flamed for this but I have never been a huge fan of Kahl/sharp albinos (T- strains for the most part). I can definitely appreciate them but they just aren’t really my cup of tea. Partly for the red eyes which is also part of the reason I love VPI so much is because they hang on to some of that melanin.

I am here to get flamed with you. It’s T+ all day for me as well!

I get that for the most part. Specially when it comes to certain genes like IMG. But a nice pastel line or coral kahl albino takes the cake for me. Love the VPIs too.

I think this boy will end up nice after the first year of growth and coloring up. RC Pastel Kahl albino 50% het Anery 1, possibly low expression jungle as well

I guess BOA bloodlines are going to be like grass strains. A new name the second someone produces a litter that stems from something else just so they can claim it as their own. Lol, I am only kidding. Kind of kidding.

I would guess het anery if this is an odd ball scale thats black. Or if there is one or two more that dhow up randomly. Look for something that gives you a snake mite scare but then you just realize its an odd coloration on the scale.

@smite can you see what I am talking about?

By the way, such an amazing boa.

Love the red in that tail! The color saturation there is hard to beat. I have a VPI IMG and she’s just awesome. VPI combines well with just about anything. Probably one of the most versatile genes.

I think it has its place with vpi combos, hypo, and normals.

Almost forgot anery motley or just them by themselves.

Here’s some newer pictures of her as well. The IMG is just starting to kick in.

@mayleet
Mayleet, that is one gorgeous IMG VPI. That is the type of IMG VPI patterns I like. You can see the Northern Brazilian influence from the VPI in her. I am pretty sure the first VPI’S came from NB boa crosses.

I love striped / jungle patterns too. I don’t have many VPI stuff right now as my main projects are Kahl albino stuff. Here are some of my striped boas I have owned and still own.

Im no fan of inbreeding personally but i feel i could somehow salvage it before it proves fatal .

Possibly… he only explained so far as male son back to mother to produce the male i have

Yes those are awesome! Loving all of those patterns. The pattern of the IMG VPI I have is exactly why I picked her. I had no idea VPI traces back to NBs so that is really cool.
