Fingers crossed!
Looks like I’ve got a bunch of disobedient eggs. Not a pippy in sight!
Aw man! Bad! Bad! Little Eggs!!!
How about now??
Nada. Still eggs. Looking less white and more dejected, so that’s good. No dents, but I only have dents before pips about 25% of the time. Ambient humidity is quite high here. The air is currently thick enough to require a staff to part it.
Soon then. ![]()
As is it here! I think the word “cloying” accurately describes our weather here as well! ![]()
Indeed. I moved to Mississippi from the Ohio Valley in January. Locals kept telling me how I wouldn’t believe the summer humidity. Honestly, the difference is pretty negligible most of the time. There are big differences, most notably the intensity of the coastal sun, the fact that the “heat of the day” lasts from 10 am to 10 pm, and it’s usually much warmer overnight here. But the humidity isn’t really that much worse.
Very eggciting ![]()
I love seeing everyone’s post i cant wait to be closer to my eggs pip day ![]()
It’s Day 62. Just look at those eggs. They’re sitting there. Being EGGS!! .…mutters truculently to self about lack of consideration…..…
They are close, though. You’d know if you could smell them. The shells of two or three are much more flexible and thin-feeling. (Looking at you, #8!) Surely within the next day or two somebody will appear.
Kids these days, amirite?
Hope they shape up and give you pippies soon!
Goldie’s are with you. Day 68 today. I’m staring to get worried. Just eggs being eggs
*starting
Let’s go!! C’mon little guys, come say hello to the world! ![]()
Almost there!!! C’mon pippies!
I just realized that the moon is full. Do you know what the full moon of June is called? It’s the Strawberry Moon!
Haha. Too coincidental!
What a perfect precious picture of pips! Strawberry, Blackberry and Raspberry! I’m “Berry” excited to see what “pips” out! ![]()
