Look what a nice surprise I got today! Annelie had shed 5 days ago and refused a meal afterward. I could feel some bumps and figured she was going to lay a second clutch. I didn’t expect it quite so quickly, though. Allstar and Annelie now have 11 more healthy, good looking eggs. Nice job, mama Annelie!
Woo hoo! Would say more but there’s a storm a commin so we’re headed to the bathroom in the middle of the house!!! And I don’t know why this is all in italics!!! ![]()

Golly! Stay safe!
Good job, Annelie! That’s a good looking clutch!
@caron Hopefully you weathered the storm okay, though the part with the itallics made me laugh! ![]()
Yeah I’m not sure how I did that! ![]()

. But thanks Elijah! ![]()
Nice and big! Good luck with them. ![]()
Wow, Annelie! Well done!
Thanks, all. And thank you on behalf of Annelie. She didn’t want to eat today, but I will try again tomorrow. It’s been storming horrifically most of the day so maybe that’s part of it.
Oh my gosh you must be getting what we got yesterday? Hopefully momma Annelie will eat soon after the storm rolls through….. ![]()
No, actually, y’all had whole differently awful system pass through. Fun weather all over the place.
@emfraise Hey Elijah I hope I don’t get in trouble for asking here but how are you putting in the smiley faces instead of the heart?
Hover your cursor over the like button and the selections will come up.
I know it had to be something way simple!!! Thanks much lady! ![]()
Oooh! A new emoji toy with the new community upgrade! Thanks, MM!
Yeah it’s a good way to teach us old dogs (not you) new tricks! ![]()
What have we here? Annelie and Allstar’s egg #1 looks different than it did this morning. There’s a small bit of the outer shell which is detached from its inner part. I haven’t had one do this before. I presume Baby #1 is soon to pip! It is Day 56 so we are getting closer to P-Day. The clutch has had a light aroma of green bell peppers for the past couple of days.
Perfect! Let’s start a “watch”
party!!! That pic kinda reminds me of a hard boiled egg with a bit of the shell flecked off showing the membrane underneath between the egg and the shell! ![]()
Interesting, is that a normal thing?
Its the kind of subtle thing that makes me wonder if this sort of thing has been happening all along and I just noticed it for the first time, or if this really is the first time. Looks exciting!
I thought the same thing. I guess it’s kind of like an Easter egg, with a delightful surprise inside. ![]()
