Give it time, Caron. Give it time. ![]()
Oh my goodness! For not being able to capture his full colors, he sure is a colorful cutie! He must be a big WOW in person if he’s better than the photos. I’m so, so happy for you, Caryl.
And I LOVE the story behind the name. Grape cultivars aren’t too far from strawberry cultivars! Fruit salad is the new theme. Haha.
That’s just what I was thinking! Then considering that there’s the related direction of wines, I shouldn’t run out of naming possibilities.
Muscadine really does look
.
I’ve now got one grape, a passel of peaches, and a half-flat of strawberries. That could be tasty!
And one Bexli and a partridge in a pear tree
……!!!
She is so beautiful
….like man, she is gorgeous
I just want pictures of him all the time! He is extremely handsome.
Haha I’ll see what I can for you tomorrow. I do need to update pics on babies.
I’m delighted to report that Muscadine took his first meal right away. He’s officially perfect lol. ![]()
It doesn’t get better than that!!!
Been a rough- around- the- edges kind of day, but I did take a couple of pictures this morning when cleaning. For Riley @lumpy and other Muscadine fans, here he is, with his sweet little face tucked under a coil, fast asleep.
And after he looked to see what I was up to with his water dish, because I can’t leaveam update with him “headless.” Lol
Awwwww! He is just the cutest little boy all tucked away! I wonder if he knows that he’s got people just fawning over him??? ![]()

He is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to see what he turns into as he gets some size on him. Absolutely love him.
Thanks, Riley and Caron. If he knows he has fans, it doesn’t show. He has none of the spicy, no “Stay back, lowly human - unless you bear food!?”
Every guy with a fan club could learn from his humility…or maybe indifference? It would be a breath of fresh air for all of Hollywood to be sure! Haha.
Stripes are my favorite!!
Loving these caramel ghost stripe colors. So creamy looking.
Thanks! I love Stripes, too, Cubed, clean or messy. The Caramel Ghosts are special. They grow up super pretty and have lovely eyes. But I like all varieties of Stripes. The Stripe babies are starting to have their second sheds. Here’s the lovely Arisaema. She’s one of those nice clean Stripes.
I love her antlers!
She’s gorgeous. One of my favorite looks!
I saw antlers, too!
They make me smile. Thanks!
Thanks, Dean. It has always puzzled me how the same lines produce clean Stripes and also Cubes. Is that because of differences in the Stripe allele itself, or subtle incubation temperature variances (seems less likely when it happens within the same clutch but it’s still theoretically possible), or some other generic influence affecting the expression? Just one more thing we haven’t really got sorted out, genetically. Fascinating.
