The most important thing, at least for me, is that they are opisthoglyphous so you should exercise care with them. Not entirely sure how “hot” they are though, I can check VBfNVS later
They are more geared toward eating non-mammalian prey but all reports I have heard are that they can convert fairly easily. Honestly, I would be inclined to feed a diet higher in chicks/quail if I had them. Babies might be difficult to start as I suspect they are obligate lizard feeders. They are also reported to be escape artists because they can squish a lot flatter than you might assume and so can squeeze out through places you might not expect.
