there is no excuse to not at least add foliage, branches ir small coconut hides, we house our babies in tubs but they are moved up in sizes as they reach a certain weight and ours have theirs packed with stuff …My daughter even made small paracord bridges for the hatchlings tubs
we do house our leos in tubs/racks …and i dont mind selling to people that all do but i always make sure they are using the correct size and have what they need in the tub …again our leos are packed with foliage, hides, cork bark…just because you use tubs doesnt mean you can scrimp on what they need … i ask for temperature/ humidity readings off any buyers also

I’ve actually had a few of my cresties go to 2 people who uses tubs, they’re big and packed with hides, bridges, foliage, branches, coconuts, ledges from amphibipod. To be fair have more things in than most vivs I see.
I do think if done correctly they are great for sure, doesn’t help most people who do use them just scrimp as you said, there’s been many I won’t sell too after seeing set ups, be viv it tub. So I’m not dead against, just I like my vivs and Doing the backgrounds etc 
Leo’s in racks, I’ve seen people even have them bio and have lighting inside the racking and all! Just like a viv but you slide them out instead.
Awh my daughter keeps asking to make bridges! I said I’ll get some stuff and she can make them for the baby enclosures… but apparently they all need them… 
Would love to see your tub set ups though, and Leo’s. I do find some of them amazing, Angela is one person who uses a lot of colour in hers

I love meeting paracord bridges 
During lockdown, I needed to upgrade my cresties so I bought large tubs and pipe insulation. I already had the foliage and plants so made it bioactive. They were great, but they don’t look nice, so once we were allowed to shop again I bought eco Terras.
I did keep a few for a while, but I prefer to see my Geckos clearly & neatly. Plus they hung over my rack.

Angela spiders and geckos? … she does her tubs nicely … You can be creative with tubs … just some people dont which is ashame … Den of exotics does semi bio with her fat tails in tubs too, there are some good keepers/ breeders out there its just a few that let us down really

Oh I’ll have a look at hers too, I have fatties, yet to breed as my boy is lazy!!.. but I will need decent ideas if they ever do for me
