13+ months old and he ate his first voluntary meal today. Acorn. Male Strawberry(?) Lava Cinder. He’ll be off to join his brother soon, the only other survivor of the clutch.

Yeah, he’s even prettier than his dad, who makes me pause when I open his tub. He’d be a keeper if he wasn’t from a disaster clutch.

He has such an interesting belly pattern! Not all-white like many diffused, not really split checkers like masque. Just mottled, inconsistent suffusion? Very cool looking.
