I think mine is green tree pythons. They are so cool looking, such a pretty display snake.
Mine changes a lot
My current reptile interest is a 100% Red Monster Beardie, they are drop dead stunning imo. Super rich dark red is an instant eye catcher for me when it comes to reptiles.
Just need to save up the funds for one atm
GTPs are expensive, too. I havent looked up red monster beardie yet, but now I’m curious. I do know enclosures are expensive too. Ive gotten all mine from blackbox. They are PVC enclosures and i added things like shelves, locks, and uvb which added to the cost but worth it, especially if it’sthe enclosure they will spend their life in
I want a female retic. I would have to pick the morph but I know I would want a female 100% mainland blood retic.
A big girl? I love how curious they are.
Absolutely!!!
Maybe one day an Amazon Basin Tree Boa think there so beautiful
I have lots that I would love to own, but can’t for various reasons. One of them is an elephant trunk snake! I just think they have the cutest faces.
Oh yeah, I got plenty. Out of all of them though, number one lizard has to be gila monster, and number one snake has to be barneck scrub python. Both of which I may never keep for various legal and safety concerns, but hey, one can dream. I am actually seriously considering scrub pythons though. The state I currently live in has them banned, but I’m definitely gonna move in a few years, so if I wind up in a state where they’re legal, and I’m in a financial space to give an adult scrubby what it needs to thrive, then one of those is definitely in my future.
Wow. What a beauty. I love how big snakes move. I think they are awesome, but i probably will never have space for a big one like that.
Those are beautiful, too. I like GTP, i think their eyes are so cool and i like the way they just hang.
A scrubby is probably the biggest snake I will ever own personally. The barnecks really only get about this big. This is a 12ft long snake, they’re built long but not too hefty. It’s the kinghorni’s that are the big fellas, but those don’t exist in the US. Or possibly they do, but the only ones that do are too old to breed and they will be extirpated from the US soon.
Very pretty snake though.
I prefer smaller snakes myself. My biggest snake is my female banana ball python.
But i have to say my favorite to look at is my AMK. I also love my greeni
Wow, beautiful king snake! I’ve pretty much decided already that the next animal I’m gonna get us gonna be an AMK or a gray banded king. What else do you keep? All I have currently is a blue tongue and a carpet python.
Two ball pythons
And i just won a hognose from an auction the other day, im waiting for my blackbox enclosure to come till i have him shipped
Also thank you
My dream snake would be a Bolien python. Someday, I will get one. But I have and do own some of my other dream snakes.
Two of my favorite retics I owned.
Tigger
SpongeBob
I have way to many boas I love.
Tough question! I wouldn’t have thought of it, @solarserpents , but you’re right. Elephant trunk snakes are freaking adorable! I love emerald tree boas. I admire cooperheads, though I won’t own venomous. I love looking at a lot of herps. I’m a corn snake gal at heart, though. I’ve been blessed the past couple of seasons and hatched some dreams. Here are a couple of them:
Strawberry Plasma Motley-Stripe, possibly RF. He needs a new pic but he’s still handsome.
Strawberry RF Halo Opal
Peach/Super Peach Fire. She doesn’t look real, but I promise that she is even brighter in person.
Then there are the Super/RF Strawberry Halo Avalanches…
And I didn’t even get into half the projects! So many dreams, so little time!
What amazing colors. I think i prefer colubreds over pythons just because i prefer to drop feed and i like that they take smaller rodents. The small rats kinda freak me out even though they are not alive.
My dream reptile is probably a big mainland purple albino retic. I’ll probably never be in a position to actually own one, but I just love them, so freaking beautiful.
My blood python will drop feed. Or strike feed. She doesn’t really care how she gets her rodent, so long as she gets it.
She does eat BIG rats, though.
