Awwwwwww I love that expression!
I managed to get some pictures alough they may not be very good since she wouldn’t stop moving.
I didnt have enough time to allow my camera to even focus. Tiny corns just want to see everything lol.
Truer words were never spoken!!
I see what you meant, though. That triangular mark beneath your girl’s eye really does match the one on this Anery baby. Still haven’t come up with the right name for him, though I seem to be leaning toward F-names with this clutch. There’s Fortunato, Flair, and…
…Fiero!
Freshly shed, simply stunning. Friendly too, after a brief initial attempt to leave the premises.
Fiero looks amazing!
He is gorgeous. He’s quite bright already, going to be brilliant when he’s grown.
I’m loving his head stamp too!
It is in keeping with his family. Dazzler’s got the same head stamp, which looks like her that of her father Boz.
The name certainly suits that boy! He is striking with that brilliant red! Beautiful boy @caryl!
Thanks. He’s really a lovely color already.
He’s got an almost fire look to him!
His lower stripe marking along his sides is very thin to nonexistent. His sire Galahad is het Diffusion, but there’s no Diffusion on Dazzler’s side of the family. These babies are all 50% ph Diffusion from their sire. So Fiero is not Fire (Amel + Diffusion). He’s just blazing!
Speaking of Dazzler, she refused a meal today. She shed on 18 July and took a meal as usual 19 July. I noticed she was out prowling today and offered her a meal but she was not interested. I palpated her. It feels like she’s got a few eggs, so I put a lay box in her enclosure. I didn’t pair her again after her extended time laying her first clutch. I was hoping she was done. Not that I wouldn’t like more stunning babies from her and Galahad, but I don’t want Dazzler to have trouble.
I really really really like this male corn @caryl
Come on @lumpy! Go ahead and say it! I really really really WANT THIS CORN!
He’s a handsome boy, to be sure. Feel free to fall in love, @lumpy .
Fortunato shed last night. I was relieved that it was a complete, timely shed with no issues. There are no pictures. He proved that his energy levels are not in any way deficient by shooting out of his deli cup at top speed when I opened it to remove and check the shed.
Hooray for Fortunato! He’s a tough little guy going to do great things!
@caryl You can hire me as your sales rep at any time! Lol
Happy to! I can only pay in appreciation and snakes, though.
