It was his first small rat, and he has been very apprehensive with size ups in the past. Had to make sure he wanted it

Had him around my neck while I cleaned his enclosure today, decided he was going to explore my face. Was in my ears and nose, wanted to try to push through the beard but it’s too dense

Christmas came early for Chester. Got him a new toy since he grew out of his green ball. This one has 3” openings, should last him

Chester does indeed look happy. In one of the pics atop his Christmas toy, he somehow reminds me on the scene in Titanic where Jack is exulting, “I’m the king of the world!”
