I’ve been waiting for this moment for what feels like a lifetime!
This has to be the most highly-anticipated pickup of my collection, and it’s finally happening tomorrow.
I am beyond thrilled to announce that I am picking up an absolute dream PAIR:
Honey Patternless Stripe Tessera ph. 50% Lavender
Huge shoutout and massive thanks to Sneaky Snakes Reaktywacja for making this happen!
This is hands-down one of the rarest combinations of genes you’ll ever find in the corn snake world, and to have a confirmed male and female is an absolute dream come true. Their colors are just stunning – a true, clean honey gold without any patterns to distract from the brilliance.
I honestly don’t think there are words to describe how excited I am to have this unique breeding project join the family. This is going to be something special.
Beautiful!!! Patternless combos with tessera, SK, and stripe is a BIG project and passion of mine! I have some potential combos that could possibly produce these, too, and am crossing my fingers that the odds are with me in the next few years. I’ll have to keep an eye on the babies these two produce!
@snakesofshadowlake I’m super fascinated by the gamble of the ‘poss het’ here! If both of these individuals prove out to be het Lavender, we’re going to get some absolutely incredible babies
Dunno if you’re interested, but you can get a shed test for Lavender from RGI. Pairing them might give you an answer of course, if they both have it. If only one is het you won’t know which one, or even if either one has it.
Do NOT apologize! You did not know. There are very good reasons that feeding photos are not allowed and as @deanaii said, it’s been done before! So no worries at all!
