You can keep them all together til i3/i4. They then start cannibalising, so you separate.
I did it your way the first time and I only had 40 odd. Took an hour each feed every few days.
This time they are all together haha.
Good luck ![]()

I’m pretty sure theyre i3 right now cause i4 is when they start getting pattern? I’m not sure but yeah it’s gonna take a while to feed them lol.
Edit: Now that i look at it they might still be i2, im a little confused about the instars still lol. If they’re still young enough i would like to move them back into communal enclosures, maybe just like 5-10 per enclosure. Let me know if that seems like a good idea or if they will eat each other lol @ghoulishcresties
Nope will be i2 as just out the egg. Can take a month to shed again. Not quick ![]()
So they’re i3 right now right?
When they leave the nest they’re i2.
So until yours moult again they’re then i3. ![]()
Mine are going into i4 now. X
So right now they’re i3 because they’ve molted since they left the nest. Apologies for all the questions lol, i was just a tad confused. Thanks though!
So they have their markings? ![]()
No they don’t i think, i’ll have to check. I think i’m misunderstanding what you mean by left the nest. Do you mean like leave to start hunting for food or leave and make their new home out of the nest? Some of them have left to make their home out of the nest but all of them have been coming out to eat and drink so i’m not sure what counts as leaving the nest. I’m still learning lol. Thank you so much for all the help!
I found this chart on google so they are in fact still i2 and i will definitely move them back into communal homes with like 10 spiders per enclosure. Again thank you so much and i’m sorry for all the questions.

Yup just about to send that. So they’re i2.
You wait til they moult to i3! Such a difference ![]()
I’m so excited!! But i’m even more excited to move them back into communal housing for easier feeding lol. ![]()
Yeah I’m not sure I’ll separate early again ![]()
Gosh it’s so much easier haha.
I’ve come to the realization that i have SO many babies. Ive put 89 of the babies into cups with 18 per cup and the rest are just going to stay in the original cup until they become i3 or i4. Definitely if Venus lays another egg sac they’re all just staying in the first cup for a while lol. Here’s a few pictures of the ones in the original cups. They’re making new big nests and have a clump staying in one nest. So cute!
lol! That’s a lot of babies! What are you planning to do with them when mature?
I want to start to actually breed and sell reptiles soon, starting with Maxx pink boas. So they can kinda be a start at that because i would like to try to at least sell a few to people. Other than that, i have a pet store near me that’s not super local but works with inverts so im willing to make the drive to sell the jumpers once they mature. If they won’t take them I might be willing to sell them to the local pet store near me but that would be a last resort because i don’t really trust them to take good care of the spiders. I definitely don’t expect to be able to sell all of these spiders myself so i’ll probably have to find a pet store near me or someone who i can ship them to to sell from their business. It’ll be a journey lol but i’m excited to start learning how selling reptiles and stuff actually works from the sellers side!
Well I am excited for you and your future plans @baby_yoda! Breeding is one thing but selling and then shipping what you sell is totally another! When I shipped one of my BPs to Nathan @banereptiles I didn’t realize how the box had to be prepared inside and out, properly and legally labeled, addressed phone numbers, emails gathered, measured and weighed to create the shipping label and then dropped off at the shipping. Whew! All I know is, I was nervous until I knew the snake was safely in Nathan’s hands!
Sorry for the ramble! Best of luck with all of your babies and keep us updated! ![]()

You’re just swimming in jumping spiders! Is this a second sac from the same female, or is it a different female?
Second sac from the same female. Sadly a lot of the first sac hasn’t made it, but the ones that have are looking big and strong and will probably molt into i3 soon!
