Just noticed a new boa morph

I just see amazing animals that were bred by amazing breeders on this thread.

Again, your language clearly puts it on the buyer and minimizes responsibility of the seller to properly represent their animals. Under the guise of “there are lots of doctored images on the net”. Obviously the buyer has some responsibility. All I’m saying is that there are a massive amount of doctored images, often from respected sellers. Sometimes they’re tweaked subtly, but definitely to misrepresent. You seem to condone it with your attitude. If you agree that sellers shouldn’t be doctoring images, why not just simply agree? another great attitude, “you don’t like it, you can leave”. Dispicable attitude from “family”.

That’s because you’re think it’s not a big deal to doctor images. Several of the pictures are clearly tweaked, and heavily. Terrible, especially for a newer morph where people are not sure what to expect. Not all of them, but several of them.

Can you please take your opinions somewhere else

Or you’re being willfully obtuse? Here I was saying terrible practice and some of these images doctored and all I got back was it’s the buyer’s responsibility. What a joke.

Nobody is saying it is ok, but saying that it is also up to the buyer to make sure they know what they are getting. But you are coming here and being rude to all the people that make this place great and it is really annoying.

Sorry, that’s not what I’m seeing. The replies in general seem to think it’s okay or at least not think it’s a big deal. If someone who is legitimately into the trade sees the images in this thread and thinks they’re all okay… Wow.

In no where did I say that I agree with doctored images, I’m not here to go over the importance of reading comprehension. You clearly have an axe to grind with MorphMarket or you’re just plain envious of what most breeders on here produce, either way its silly.

That’s a ridiculous narrative. I’m envious…. I simply stated at least several of these images are doctored and seems to be a regular practice by many breeders. The pushback is absolutely incredible.

Hi @organicboas,

At least how I am reading, no one is saying it is ok for an image to be heavily manipulated and the seller is allowed to try to convince a buyer under false advertisement. What is being said is that, you can edit a picture to make it look more realistic and true to in person color. This is what was being discussed before not sellers purposely trying to manipulate buyers. If people are, that is wrong and I am pretty sure that a community that has had other discussions about that, knows better.

Knowing what you are getting means that you know what the morph looks like. This means you should know if something is outrageously over saturated or heavily processed. I believe and hope that when you and other people see ads with heavy edited pictures, that you flag them so that they can be reviewed. Not once in this thread do I see anyone saying that people should know that they are getting scammed by a seller.

Thank you @lumpy!
Maybe @organicboas will finally get what everybody is saying this time :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
