I paired the male Dappled ghost from 24 with a hypo stripe het sk female. Not long after that I realized that since they both caused this pattern it really wasn’t going to prove much! Either way they are hatching!

Thanks. I might have better luck with the next clutch as far as proving whether the OG leopards have sunkissed. I put a snow het sk motley with the female leopard mot matriarch as well. So half the clutch should be non motley and any sunkissed should be evident in those, at least.

I almost put a male hypo sk stripe with the original female but I am glad I decided not to because cool as they are, I still have a couple of the dappled left from last year so I put the snow with her. He’s a cool pink and green salmon snow het motley and sunkissed. Tests him for hypo, her for amel, sk and hopefully some cool motleys… and puts the red factor into the line. Worst case scenario is I get a bunch of anery but fingers crossed 4 hets

Off topic but Caryl your snow stripe girl has proved to be both hypo and caramel. I put her with a hypo sunkissed stripe and she still looked great after laying so I put her with the pink and green boy for a second clutch. These are her babies… there were amel, snow, hypo and ghost stripes. Some have cubed patterns. (The second clutch still incubating)

Nice to see her babies. 
Looks like she’s making some pretty ones for you. I love the variety.
Her sire is a Caramel Ghost Stripe. Her dam was a GB Xanthic Snow het Hypo, Stripe or else a GB Citrine het Stripe. I knew she was homozygous Caramel. Wasn’t sure if she was het or homozygous Hypo, though.
Edit to add: it’s also fun to hear that you’re getting a mix of Stripes and Cubes. I always find it fascinating that the ones who throw the best good clean Stripes so often also produce clean Cubes.

Thanks again for letting me get her! Her name is Scheherezade she’s a good girl. Won’t sit still for pictures lol. Last year my friend sent me a goldust tessera to pair with her and he turned out to be het stripe so I kept a goldust stripe girl from that pairing pictured below. I’m kind of assuming that she’s hypo too because there were no “just anery” in this stripe clutch but the amel and snow don’t really tell us much either way…

Scherezade grew up into a beautiful girl. She looks like her sister Solana whom I kept. Solana is overdue for updated pics. You’ve inspired me to do that after she digests yesterday’s meal. That Golddust Stripe baby is gorgeous!!

@ghosthouse I didn’t realize you were the owner of Scherezade! It’s a small world, I guess. I also have both a female and a male from your same clutch: Little Mochi and Mango. How she is so brown and he so yellow when they are supposedly both golddusts, I will never know. I keep thinking that their tessera dad from Ryan Ferrel HAD to have a het anery. I also don’t know how her eyes can be so dark if she’s ultramel…but I sure do like them regardless of their genetics. The tessera stripe gets me every time. Maybe I’ll be able to produce something like Solana or Sherezade someday.

From Chris? The clutches from that tessera (2 different females) had both of us scratching our heads. The other female was hypo het anery so he seemed not het either
