Let’s see some Inverts

Axle those are super cool. I’ve been pondering a couple of those. I got a freebie salmon punk birdeater a week ago and should have gotten a picture before it buried in the substrate. The cricket leg was gone this morning though.

Nice! Yeah, I’ve got a few of these (Tarantula Cribs enclosures) and a few other types for inverts that are similar. I definitely favor the Tarantula Cribs enclosures, though. These enclosures aren’t new, I actually had these from other slings that outgrew them, but I just happened upon a small group of P. fasciata that needed new digs, so here we are.

Here’s a few of our Adults/Sub Adults. At least the ones that were out…ish. I feel like I don’t show them off as often as the slings for some reason.

Our larger Pink Toe

I can’t lie this is either a Mexican Fire leg or Red leg I can’t keep those 2 straight ever

Our Larger Brazilian Black

Freshly molted Entre Rios

My big boy. Formerly Gwen. Now Garth the Arizona Blonde

The Brazilian Red Rump. Also freshly molted

And this young man not at all cooperative. The Striped knee

… and correct I rarely use scientific names. Though specific. They are lengthy and hard to say so eff that

Impressive collection. You’ve got some really nice T’s there!

Gotta love the fact how the wtf tongue twister kinda mess scientific names end up going to simple invert lifeforms like T’s. Their name is more complex then their biology is…

Beautiful T’s though!!! Not sure if I know the Entre Rios though…that might be a new species for me to look up.

Ugggghh, this thread is not helping my resolve to not get into keeping spiders. I’m in the process of trying to find a new roommate, and I’m already a hard enough sell with my snakes. If I added spiders to the mix, nobody will want to live with me. :frowning:

That said, I really want some tarantulas, and maybe some jumping spiders and wolf spiders. I just love them so much.

…maybe I’ll wait for the new roomie to move in and then get some arachnids. Then they’ll just have to deal with it.

Buy them as a sling and raise them up. It’s a lot cheaper and more enjoyable! I’m probably going to order a few more this weekend.

That was pretty much my plan, unless I find an adult rescue/re-home I just can’t say no to.

They’re so cute when they’re babies.

I’d room with someone that keeps reptiles and arachnids in a heartbeat! Who knows? Maybe you’ll find someone who likes arachnids and reptiles to come live with ya : )

Yeah, I’ve actually found quite a few people who don’t seem to care. I put in my ad that I had snakes that weren’t going anywhere, just to weed out anyone who had a serious issue with them from the get-go. I also have other pets, so it’s definitely not the right fit for someone who hates animals, haha.

Don’t worry about it, one day you will find somebody; they will hopefully like reptiles but they will be a pet-loving person.
